User Responsibility:
You, as the event creator, are responsible for managing who has access to your event link. We are not responsible for who views or shares the content on your event page once the link is distributed by you.
Content Ownership and Permissions:
By uploading content to our service, users affirm that they have the necessary rights and permissions to share that content. We do not claim ownership of the uploaded content but require a license to host and display it as part of our service.
Content Moderation:
While we do not actively monitor uploaded content, we reserve the right to remove content that violates our terms of service, including but not limited to content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on intellectual property rights.
Data Security:
We implement robust security measures to protect your uploaded content. However, as the event link provides open access, we cannot guarantee complete privacy for the uploaded content.
Duration of Storage:
Uploaded content will be stored on our servers for a predetermined period as outlined in our service agreement or until the event owner chooses to delete the event page or specific content.
3. How long do we keep your information?
Event Content Retention:
Photos and videos uploaded to your event page are stored for twelve months following the event date. After this period, we reserve the right to delete all content from our servers due to storage limitations. We recommend downloading any desired content before the twelve-month expiration to ensure you retain your memories.
Personal Information and Event Details:
Your account details, such as your name, email address, and event information (excluding photos and videos), are stored indefinitely or until you choose to delete your account or request their removal.
Data Deletion Requests:
You can request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time by reaching out to us at hello@first-look.co. Upon such a request, your personal information and any remaining event content will be promptly removed from our systems, subject to legal and regulatory retention requirements.
4. How does your "satisfaction guarantee" return policy work?
We strive to create the best experience possible for our users. We understand the importance of your special event and are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction, even if that means refunding you for our service.
Eligibility for Refund:
If for any reason you are not satisfied with our service, you are eligible for a full refund within 14 days following your event date. This policy is designed to give you peace of mind and confidence in the service we offer.
Condition for Refund:
To qualify for the refund under our satisfaction guarantee, you must not have downloaded any photos or videos from your 'firstLook' album. Once a download has occurred, we consider the service to have been used, making the purchase ineligible for a refund.
Initiating the Refund Process:
If you wish to initiate a refund, please contact our support team at hello@first-look.co. We will guide you through the process and provide any necessary assistance.
In your refund request, please include your event details and the email associated with your account to help us expedite the process.
Processing Refunds:
Upon receiving your request and confirming eligibility, we will process your refund. The refund will be credited to the original method of payment. Please allow a certain number of business days for the refund to reflect in your account, as processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.
