Basics
Can firstlook be used for events other than weddings?
Absolutely! While most of our customers use firstlook for their wedding occassions, our service can be used for any event where you'd like to collect photos and videos from your guests.
What file types does firstlook support?
Our service supports all common photo and video formats, including JPG, PNG for images, and MP4, MOV for videos.
Will my guests be able to download photos and videos from the album as well?
Yes, all guests who have access to the album will be able to download it's content.
How can I separate photos for my bachelor/ bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, wedding, etc?
Since everyone with access to your event link will be able to see the photos, we recommend creating separate events for each occassion. You can then share the individual event links with the appropriate guests.
Who will have access to my album?
Every event has a randomly generated link. Anyone you share the event link will be able to access and upload content to your album.
Content storage
How long does firstlook store my photos and videos?
Each of our plans comes with twelve months of photo and video storage, starting on your event date.
What happens when my event reaches the storage limit?
When your event reaches the storage limit, you will receive a notification to your email. We will still allow your guests to upload photos up to 5GB over your chosen storage limit, but you won't be able to download any photos until you upgrade your plan.
Note: all of our plans come with generous storage limits, so it's very unlikely you will run out of space if you're within the recommended guest count.
What's the maximum file size I can upload to firstlook?
firstlook supports files up to 2GB. The 2GB limit also applies to a single batch upload of multiple photos and videos. If you'd like to upload more than 2GB, you'll need to split your upload into multiple batches.
Can photos be deleted?
Only the creator of the event can delete photos. Once deleted, photos cannot be recovered. You'll need to contact the uploader to re-upload the photos.
Payment
What is your return policy?
We want you to be completely satisfied with our service. If you're not, we're happy to offer you a full refund within 14 days of your event date, provided you have not yet downloaded your firstlook album. Simply contact our support team at hello@first-look.co to get started on the refund process.
What if I want to change plans?
You can upgrade your plan at any time directly from your event dashboard. You can downgrade at any point before your event by contacting us, and we will refund you the price difference.
Can I downgrade my plan after my event?
We only support downgrading your plan prior to the event date.
